The cone crusher is an efficient and stable equipment for medium and fine crushing of stone materials. It mainly crushes materials through the squeezing, bending, and shearing actions between the moving cone and the fixed cone. Its advanced hydraulic system ensures the stability of operation, has an automatic cavity adjustment function, overload protection, and is easy to maintain. It is particularly suitable for crushing stone materials of medium hardness or above, such as granite, basalt, iron ore, river pebbles, etc. Conical crushers are commonly used in the secondary or tertiary crushing stages of the crushing production line. They are used in conjunction with jaw crushers, impact crushers, sand-making machines, and other equipment to form a complete sand and stone or mineral production line.
The cone crusher is driven by an electric motor, which rotates the eccentric shaft through a pulley or coupling. The eccentric shaft causes the moving cone to make periodic oscillations within the fixed cone, thereby creating a constantly changing crushing space.
After the material enters the crushing chamber, it will be continuously compressed and crushed between the moving cone and the fixed cone, gradually being broken down into smaller particles. The material that meets the requirements will be discharged from the bottom discharge port, while the material that does not reach the desired particle size will remain in the crushing chamber for further crushing. By adjusting the size of the discharge port, the particle size of the finished product can be flexibly controlled to meet different production requirements.
