The belt press filter is mainly used for treating sludge and can perform dehydration and solidification treatment on the sludge. The working process can be designed according to the type of materials of the customers. First, a flocculant needs to be added to the sludge tank to make the sludge settle, which is convenient for the next step of dehydration and solidification. Then, the sludge enters from the feed port and is evenly spread on the continuously running filter belt, passing through the gravity dehydration zone, the wedge compression zone and the high-pressure squeezing zone successively. The water in the sludge will gradually be squeezed out and discharged, and finally, only the sludge cake with lower moisture content will remain on the filter belt. This sludge cake is easy to transport and handle. The sludge treatment capacity of the belt press filter ranges from 5 to 20 tons per day.
